Course Overview:
This course is aimed at practitioners who have experience of implant placement and who wish to further their knowledge with bone augmentation procedures.
This course covers all the aspect of dental bone graft, The first part covers patients evaluation and treatment planning, the biological and anatomical basis for current surgical procedures, the selection of biomaterials and instrumentation to assist in the bone grafting procedures.
Then the different surgical techniques will be presented, focused on vertical and horizontal ridge augmentation in anterior and posterior area and soft tissue procedures to develop graft sites.
A dedicated section of the course will address bone grafting complications, the last parte of the course is dedicated to discuss about other advanced bone augmentation techniques.
